It was a G.O.O.D. day...

If a survivable devastating event in our neighborhood occurs this is the direction we'll be heading. Astrik will be posting the same should said event occur up here. The idea is (at least for me) is depending on the event to get out of any densly populated areas, near fresh water and land for hunting, with woods nearby for shelter etc. Some may poo-poo preparedness but here's what I have in my G.O.O.D. (Get Out Of Dodge) kit

1 Full-Size Hiking Back Pack filled with:

Clothes:
1 Pr Jeans
2 T-shirts
1 Hoodie/Sweatshirt
2 Pr Socks
2 Pr Underwear
1 Cap w Visor
1 UV sunglasses/goggles
1 Shemag
1 Rain Poncho
2 wool blankets (0r 1 pup tent)
1 pr gloves
1 warm tuke/skully

Food:
Coffee/sugar/coffee pot
canned sardines/tuna/squid
dry rice
dried beans
Asst Emergency MRE's w Beverages
Granola Bars

First Aid Kit
Toothbrush/Paste

Machete
Pocket Multi Tool
Rope
Green Gas/Propane stove
Duct Tape
Map of U.S.
Compass
L.E.D. FlashLight w extra batts.
Hand wound/Solar Radio Flashlight
Two zippos w extra fluid, flints and wicks
Two Packs of sure to be stale smokes!
Soap/Shampoo
(All above items in ziplock/waterproof bags)

Gas Mask

Carbine


Extras (if time permits):
Large Tent
Generator
Camp Stove

If something wacky occurs in the North, were heading South!
If Something occurs in the South...Head North!

A little pice of advice...Always know which way the wind blows!
